Not matrix 4sure. Full of csam and reeks of being a honeypot imo. A good video on this: Matrix—A Pit of Abuse with Government Ties.
Fluxer
Testing as of 22.02.26, in beta and supposedly a very new project. No self-hosting documentation yet, but should be there at some point. No mobile app so far, also planned.
- Superslow rn, api is regularly down. This is due to influx of new users.
- The desktop app is quite nice tbh

Old as shit. 6.0 supports screen-sharing and is self-hostable. Also already a known quantity, since we hosted 6.0 already. Works through Proxy as well.
- So far should be there as a back-up.
